Equipping every Rwandan child with foundational literacy and math before grade four.
The Foundational Learning Programme is LIFT's flagship classroom intervention, designed to ensure that pupils in grades P1 to P3 gain fluent decoding, reading comprehension, and concrete mathematical reasoning.
By co-developing scripted pedagogical routines and graded decodable readers with the Ministry of Education (MINEDUC), we provide teachers with the exact instructional tools and daily lesson cadence needed to manage large classrooms effectively.
Working directly with the Rwanda Basic Education Board (REB), LIFT translates cognitive science and literacy pedagogy into easy-to-follow, scripted 15-minute daily routines that primary teachers can execute with confidence, regardless of class size.
